Faith was halfway through her yoga session on the balcony of their room when Stephen texted to tell her he would be there in twenty minutes. That would give her just enough time to finish. The view was perfect and peaceful for yoga, and the sea breeze kept her comfortable.

She was in the kitchen for a bottle of water when she heard the front door open. Tiptoeing to the corner of the kitchen wall, she hopped out in front of Stephen as he walked to the living room.

He jumped and grabbed her around the waist. He pulled her in, kissing and nibbling her neck.

Faith giggled. “Well, someone is feeling frisky.”

He kissed her softly. “Man, have I missed you, babe. I had a hard time staying in character today. My mind kept reverting to you. I couldn’t wait for the day to end so I could get back here.”

She put her hands on each side of his head. “Hmm, I’ve had the same damn problem today. My GPS was losing patience with me because I kept missing my turns.” Smiling at him, she pulled his face down to hers and kissed him.

Stephen hesitantly pulled away. “What do you think we should do about it?”

“Well, I did wait for you to eat dinner, but maybe we could start with a little dessert first.” Raising her brow, she didn’t wait for an answer. Faith grabbed his hand and pulled him behind her as she walked to the bedroom.

“Oh, I love how you think. A woman after my own heart. But I really should shower first. I got pretty sweaty at work. Care to join me?”

“Absolutely!”
